Assistant Professor - 2014-Present

Dan grew up on the east coast, but his sports devotion still lies with his earliest upbringing in Massachusetts, where he learned to love the Red Sox and Patriots. His passion for understanding the role of our microbiome in tumor development has been fueled by a fascination with bacterial virulence factors, and a true desire to make significant findings that will enable future colorectal cancer therapies and vaccines. He is a fan of lab bowling nights, group coffee breaks with pathways drawn on napkins, and extremely difficult cloning projects that have the potential for utter failure or complete euphoria.
